My name is Dr. Jessica Isom, MD MPH.

As a board-certified psychiatrist and a compassionate change agent, I've been at the forefront of understanding and challenging the racial inequities prevalent in the United States.

With over a decade of experience in medical workforce development, I've not only been impacted by and witnessed the systemic inequities that persist ,but have taken actionable steps to address them.

My commitment to this cause is backed by my public health knowledge, lived experience, professional expertise and deep engagement in consultative work which serves as a foundation that allows me to dive deep into the complexities of racial inequalities in medical spaces. My ongoing commitment to community health as a clinically practicing psychiatrist further solidifies my passion and drive in this domain.

As the founder of Vision for Equity LLC, my endeavors extend to highlighting the principles of social justice, racial health equity, and multi-level antiracism. My engagements have led me to collaborate with a spectrum of stakeholders, ranging from healthcare professionals and private entities to non-profit organizations and community members at large.
